Joplin, Missouri — Joplin 44, I-44 & Hwy 43, Exit 4 in Joplin, Missouri has been recognized by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence.  The program’s emphasis is to identify repair facilities with a large percentage of ASE-certified professionals.  The Blue Seal of Excellence Recognition Program is a program for businesses striving to be the best and willing to prove their commitment.

Joplin 44 is the only heavy truck repair facility in the TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Center chains to receive the recognition.  “We are very proud of the ability and dedication of our Joplin Petro:Lube technicians.  It was no small feat to achieve this designation.  The Blue Seal of Excellence lets our customers know that they are getting their truck repaired by the best,” says Joel Hamilton, general manager.

The Joplin Petro:Lube was awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence in July 2009 with 80% of its service technicians having at least one ASE classification.  The facility also has eight ASE Master Technicians on staff and four service writers that are ASE certified.
