Oakgrove 70 Petro Publishes 40th Anniversary Book (07/01/2004)
In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, Oakgrove 70 Petro has published a book chronicling the growth of Oakgrove 70 Petro since its opening in 1964. The book is a full color coffee table book containing 71 pages of history, photos and stories from various friends and employees.
“This book is a tribute to my dad,” says Delia Moon Meier. “He saw the potential for Iowa 80 back in 1963 when he scouted this property for Standard Oil. He was quite a visionary.”
