CAT Scale’s 1938 Kenworth to Run Portion of Great Race Again!

CAT Scale’s 1938 Kenworth will be hitting the highway again to compete in a portion of the Hemming’s Motor News Great Race, a cross-country road rally of antique vehicles.    “We ran our 1938 Kenworth in the Great Race for over 10 years, so we know many of the racers and Great Race staff.  We are very excited to be running in this road rally again, even if it’s not the whole race.  It will be just like old times.” says Delia Moon Meier, Senior Vice President, CAT Scale Company.

CAT Scale’s 1938 Kenworth will run the race from LaCrosse, WI to Hannibal, MO and is the only semi-tractor in the cross-country competition.  Iowa 80 Truckstop is also hosting a fuel stop for the Great Race race vehicles on June 23rd.

The Great Race is a time/speed/endurance road-rally for vintage vehicles, manufactured at least forty-five years ago. The 2013 event will be run over nine days, starting in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 22nd and ending on June 30th in Mobile, Alabama.
