Joplin 44 to Expanding Chrome Shop, Adding Taco Bell / Pizza Hut

JOPLIN, MO — The Joplin 44, located at I-44 & Hwy 43 Exit 4 in Joplin, Missouri is currently undergoing a massive expansion and remodel. When complete the truckstop will feature a new 15,000 square foot Super Truck Showroom complete with two semi trucks on turn tables, an elevator, light wall and thousands of chrome truck accessories. “We will be able to offer so much more as a result of this expansion and remodel,” says Joel Hamilton, general manager. “We are very excited about it. Our customers will be amazed.”

Also in the expansion plan is the addition of a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Express, a custom vinyl and embroidery shop, new restrooms, automatic entrance doors and decor updates. The project is expected to be complete early next year.

Renovations were recently completed at the Joplin 44 Fuel Center. The Iron Skillet Restaurant was remodeled in 2009.
