WALCOTT, IOWA — CAT Scale Company is pleased to announce that files are now available
allowing drivers to download CAT Scale locations as POI (point of interest) files into their GPS
navigation devices. CAT Scale has created downloads specifically for Garmin, Magellan and
Tom Tom brand devices as well as a universal download file that will work with most other GPS
units. Step by step printable instructions and tutorial videos are also available on the site to
guide drivers through the file download process.
Drivers can also sign up for email alerts to be notified when new downloads become
available. “So many drivers are now using GPS navigation units that we felt is was important to
offer the CAT Scale location file in a formats compatible with a wide range of devices. We plan
to offer quarterly file updates and anticipate that many drivers will take advantage of this tool,”
says Heather DeBaillie, marketing manager.
