WALCOTT, IOWA — CAT Scale Company has entered into an agreement with Hargett Enterprises, Inc., to purchase Interstate Scales from the company. For the time being CAT Scale Company will operate Interstate Scales intact while scale sites are evaluated. “We see this as a win-win,” says Delia Moon Meier, Senior Vice President, CAT Scale Company. “We are excited about this. Interstate has a fully equipped and fully staffed office, technical center and warehouse in Evansville, Indiana. With both offices, we are now only a one day drive to 70% of our scales.”

Interstate Scales consists of 143 truck scale locations throughout the U.S.; located at truck stops. “CAT Scale is a good company. They have a great reputation with drivers and I see this as a big positive for Interstate Scale locations.” says Wayne Hargett, Hargett Enterprises, Inc.
